Strategic Risk magazine survey results:
In a recent survey of UK risk managers by Strategic Risk magazine, the results stated: 'XL performed strongly in all areas, scoring highly on the speed of access to decision-makers (83%) and the speed and fairness of its claims handling (80%)'. An overall score calculated from the ratings placed XL Insurance = 2nd for overall service.'

AIRMIC's 'Delivering excellence in insurance claims-handling' initiative
AIRMIC, the UK-based Association of Insurance and Risk Managers, recently published its best practice guide, setting out the hallmarks of an excellent insurance claims service. The guide, which follows more than two years of market consultation, has two main functions: as a tool for insurance buyers; and as a reference point for insurers. AIRMIC's partner insurers, who contributed to the consultation process, were asked to benchmark themselves against the guide. Read our response .
